Role : Senior Project Manager – Healthcare IT
Location: Remote – California or nearby-state residents only

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Healthcare IT to manage and oversee complex IT projects from initiation through delivery. The Senior PM will work closely with internal and external IT teams, department leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of large and complex IT projects.
• Define project scope, requirements, deliverables, milestones, and schedules.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and release plans.
• Lead internal and external project teams and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Manage project resources, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when required.
• Lead requirements analysis, business process improvement, and change management activities.
• Participate in change control and evaluate change requests.
• Establish and maintain quality assurance processes.
• Conduct feasibility studies, analytical studies, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Coordinate systems integration and IT lifecycle activities.
• Work with stakeholders and department leadership to communicate project status.
• Prepare and deliver project presentations, briefings, and status reports.
• Ensure appropriate project documentation, training, and user materials are developed.
• Support information security planning and compliance activities.
• Conduct milestone, phase, and final project reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of broad and progressive Project Management experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager managing large or complex IT projects.
• 3+ years of experience with:
  • Software Development Projects
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Azure DevOps
  • Agile/Scrum
• 1+ year of experience with Azure Cloud.
• Strong experience with project planning, requirements analysis, risk management, quality assurance, change management, and systems integration.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working with technical and business teams in complex enterprise environments.

Education & Certification

• Bachelor's degree required.
• PMP Certification is Mandatory and must be issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
• Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
• PMP certification cannot be substituted by additional experience.
