The Role

• Act as the primary customer service point, assisting shoppers and managing transactions.
• Serve in a lead capacity, supervising store operations in the absence of management.
• Ensure merchandise is properly stocked, displayed according to plan-o-grams, and rotated.
• Handle truck unloads, receive merchandise, and maintain store and stockroom organization.
• Perform cashier duties, including operating the register, processing payments, and making change.
• Uphold company policies, including cash handling, security, and loss prevention procedures.

What You'll Need

• Proven ability in mathematical calculations and cash handling procedures.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and general store operations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer and team interaction.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices within a retail environment.
• Ability to read and implement merchandising guidelines and plan-o-grams.
• High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory experience is a plus.
