The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring timely and accurate handling. • Drive hostlers to precisely position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Conduct pre and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics operations effectively. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established safety protocols and procedures. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position. • Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Open availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
