Data Analytics Engineer
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite)
Role Overview
This role is responsible for developing and delivering processes that enhance transparency into workforce time allocation. The position involves data analysis, process design, and the creation of materials such as process documentation and training content. The role will also capture business requirements for developing management-level operational dashboards.
Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to story refinement and define requirements for data collection and presentation in automated scorecards.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand data requirements and ensure the data architecture is feasible and accurately implemented.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Utilize processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, data quality controls, dependency, and workload management.
• Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, and performance), analyze test reports, and triage any issues.
• Collaborate with Project Management to document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, and support.
• Adhere to the team's delivery and release process for metric aggregation and executive communications.
• Identify gaps in data management standards and work with partners to develop plans to close them.
• Lead concept and experimentation testing and synthesize results to validate and improve analytical solutions.
• Monitor key performance indicators and internal controls.

Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required. Advanced experience with data technologies and aggregation from multiple sources is necessary, along with an advanced understanding of metadata, data lineage concepts, and the business domain.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Agile, JIRA, Tableau, MicroStrategy, and ITSM. Advanced skills in Excel, Tableau, and MS Office PowerPoint are also required.
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with basic AI tools such as GitHub CoPilot.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and executing test cases, with knowledge of test automation and tools.
• Ability to perform or support continuous integration and deployment activities.
• Microsoft Office Certification.
