Access Control Contractor (Temp)

Primary Location: St. Paul, MN

Wage: $22.00/HR

The Access Control Contractor supports the organization’s security operations by producing access badges, issuing mobile credentials, resolving basic access issues, and performing data accuracy tasks.

This position is a long term temp position to last up to 1 year.

What You Can Expect:

  • Produce and ship physical badges; issue and manage mobile badges.
  • Process Card Access workflow requests
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for card access and badge related issues.
  • Communicate with business partners to support SLA commitments.
  • Prioritize and manage assigned tasks independently while collaborating with team members.
  • Identify exceptions and escalate to management appropriately.

Basic Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Above average computer / technology skills needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and strong data entry skills needed.
  • Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
  • Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
  • Must have a professional demeanor.
  • Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance or security needed.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities needed.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills needed.
  • Must have the ability to manage daily workload effectively.
