Job Description

Role Overview

The Product Marketing Manager will support go-to-market execution for the Webex Suite. The role will own defined product marketing workstreams and translate product capabilities and business priorities into clear messaging, launch plans, and field-ready assets.

 

Working under the direction of a Product Marketing Leader, the successful candidate will ramp quickly, manage timelines and stakeholder inputs, and deliver high-quality outputs across multiple priorities.

 

The role is focused on execution, coordination, and launch readiness within the agreed scope of the assignment.

 

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in B2B product marketing, go-to-market, sales enablement, content, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting SaaS, collaboration, communications, or platform products.
  • Proven experience taking product capabilities or features from readiness through launch and market activation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex products while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholder inputs.
  • Sound judgment, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
  • Ability to ramp quickly and contribute with limited day-to-day direction.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Launch & Go-to-Market Execution

  • Own assigned workstreams for product- and suite-level launches.
  • Support launch planning across areas including:
  • Meetings
  • Calling
  • Messaging
  • Engagement
  • Control Hub
  • Security
  • Coordinate deliverables across products, regions, channels, and launch moments.
  • Support Cisco and industry events with messaging, content, demos, and readiness materials.
  • Track dependencies and identify risks early.
  • Escalate decisions and issues when necessary.
  • Maintain clear project plans, timelines, milestones, and status updates.

 

2. Messaging, Content & Enablement

  • Translate shipped product capabilities into clear, customer-relevant positioning and messaging.
  • Develop field-ready assets, including:
  • Presentations
  • One-pagers
  • Product demos
  • FAQs
  • Talk tracks
  • Internal communications
  • Partner with Sales Enablement and Regional Marketing to prepare teams for customer conversations.
  • Incorporate feedback from Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and alignment across related assets and channels.
  • Adapt messaging for different audiences, regions, and routes to market.

 

3. Adoption & Market Engagement

  • Support launch readiness and post-launch adoption activities.
  • Develop communications that connect product value to customer needs and use cases.
  • Contribute to analyst and external engagements with clear, accurate, and defensible messaging.
  • Support customer, field, and partner feedback-gathering initiatives.
  • Help track agreed-upon measures, including launch completion, asset usage, and field readiness.

 

4. Cross-Functional Execution

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Sales Enablement, Regional Marketing, and Communications.
  • Manage multiple timelines and competing priorities within the scope of the assignment.
  • Turn inbound requests into organized, actionable, and shareable deliverables.
  • Bring structure to ambiguous requests and recommend practical next steps.
  • Communicate progress, decisions, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements clearly.
  • Operate effectively in a matrixed environment without direct authority.
