Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts, hardware, and sub-assemblies that form metal or structural housings for electronic equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, customer assembly drawings, work instructions, and work orders.
• Use hand tools and basic power tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, drills, presses, riveters, sockets, pliers, and wrenches.
• Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as cali pers and micrometers to verify fit, alignment, and functionality.
• Identify, report, and assist in correcting assembly defects, fit issues, or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
• Perform repetitive, hands-on assembly work while standing and handling small components throughout the workday.

Requirements

• Availability to work a 4-day schedule, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (four 10-hour shifts).
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience assembling metal or plastic products in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, customer drawings, or written assembly instructions.
• Experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, sockets, pliers, wrenches, and basic power tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet quality and workmanship standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or similar production environments.
• Familiarity with quality standards, safety procedures, or continuous improvement practices is a plus.
