The Role

• Provide essential support to key Submarine Shipbuilding (SHAPM) Program Offices within the NAVSEA TEAM SUB structure.
• Contribute to the development and acquisition planning for advanced submarine programs, including the COLUMBIA and VIRGINIA Class Submarines, and the future Attack Submarine (SSN(X)).
• Support the Marine Engineering Competency Domain, ensuring technical excellence across naval programs.
• Engage with evolving organizational structures designed to enhance submarine research, development, and maintenance processes.

What You'll Need

• Master's degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
• A secret security clearance is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Desired: 7 years of professional engineering experience.
• Desired: 7+ years of experience in the design, testing, qualification, and production of naval shipboard electrical and/or propulsion equipment.
• Desired: Experience with Submarines and/or the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, including knowledge of large electrical machines and/or power electronics.
