Role Summary
This role involves supporting enterprise data center infrastructure through installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of critical hardware components. The position requires technical expertise in server, storage, and network hardware, with responsibilities extending to large-scale deployment projects, hardware maintenance, and infrastructure diagnostics. It is suited for professionals with substantial experience in data center operations and a focus on maintaining optimal system performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise-level server, storage, and networking hardware.
• Perform advanced rack and stack activities, including rail installation, structured cabling, and hardware integration.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware failures in servers, GPUs, storage systems, and networking equipment.
• Execute firmware updates, BIOS configurations, hardware replacements, and system validation procedures.
• Support hardware deployment projects such as refreshes, migrations, and expansions across data center facilities.
• Monitor data center environment health, equipment status, and environmental conditions utilizing DCIM and monitoring tools.
• Follow operational procedures, change management protocols, and maintain accurate documentation of activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and vendor support, to resolve complex technical issues.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to L1 and L2 technicians, fostering knowledge sharing and skills development.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support maintenance windows outside of standard business hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise or hyperscale data center environments.
• In-depth knowledge of x86 server architecture, GPU systems, enterprise storage platforms, and networking equipment.
• Proven experience with rack and stack deployments, structured cabling (copper and fiber), and hardware diagnostics.
• Familiarity with Power Distribution Units (PDUs), remote management tools (iLO, iDRAC, IPMI, Redfish), and Linux OS troubleshooting.
• Ability to read rack elevations, network diagrams, and technical documentation effectively.
• Experience using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Availability to support on-site operations and participate in scheduled maintenance activities.

Publishing Pay Range: $42.35 - $44.92 hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
