Job Description

A CT Tech - Weekend/Night job description entails performing computed tomography (CT) scans on patients primarily during weekend and night shifts, requiring the technologist to operate specialized imaging equipment, position patients accurately, administer contrast dye when necessary, and produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists, while adhering to all safety protocols and patient care standards.

CT Tech- weekend/night 

Performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis of patients of all ages. Position will be working in a fast paced environment in level one trauma center.

Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Experience: CT experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Must be CT registered within one year of hire. ARRT registry / valid BLS certification.
Other: Good interpersonal, technical skills, and flexibility in assignments.
