Technical Program Manager (TPM) Oracle M&A / Finance Technology Location: Remote Contract: W2 Rate: $90/hr on W2
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be a senior program leader who can coordinate multiple technical and functional workstreams, manage cross-project dependencies, drive execution, and serve as the key connection point between business stakeholders, engineering teams, finance teams, and external systems integrators.
This is not a hands-on Oracle consultant role. The successful candidate will be responsible for program leadership, roadmap execution, stakeholder alignment, risk and dependency management, resource coordination, vendor management, testing/UAT readiness, and migration/cutover activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead execution of multiple concurrent Oracle ERP/Fusion migrations and M&A integration initiatives across engineering and Finance Technology teams.
  • Manage an integrated program plan, roadmap, milestones, critical path, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements across multiple workstreams.
  • Coordinate and manage approximately 8 10 workstream leads / PMs / technical and functional resources to keep the overall program on track.
  • Drive programs from roadmap and planning through execution, testing/UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-migration handoff.
  • Manage contention for shared engineering resources, environments, testing windows, and other critical program dependencies.
  • Track bottlenecks and blockers daily, identify issues early, and escalate to the appropriate leadership with clear decisions or resources required.
  • Hold business stakeholders accountable for timelines, staffing, validation, UAT, testing, and other program commitments.
  • Track open design, configuration, and business decisions and escalate unresolved decisions that could impact milestones or go-live dates.
  • Identify and manage dependencies across upstream and downstream systems, including tax engines, billing, revenue platforms, RPA, and other Finance Technology systems.
  • Coordinate sequencing across multiple migration workstreams to prevent conflicts involving shared resources and systems.
  • Manage third-party systems integrators and specialist contractors against SOWs, deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify vendor delivery risks early and drive corrective actions or escalations before they become program blockers.
  • Coordinate cutover and close-readiness, including reconciliation, parallel close activities where required, testing validation, and handoff to Finance and FinTech teams.
  • Provide executive-level status reporting across programs, including milestone progress, risks, dependencies, issues, and recovery decisions required.
  • Build and maintain program roadmaps, dependency maps, risk registers, and integrated delivery plans.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure all workstreams remain aligned to overall program objectives.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Engineering, Technology, business leaders, PMs, and external partners to drive successful delivery.
Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar role supporting complex technology/ERP programs.
  • Strong Oracle Cloud Fusion / Oracle Financials experience.
  • Proven experience managing M&A, acquisition, merger, or ERP integration programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading ERP integration/migration programs involving an acquired company or business.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, migrations, or workstreams with shared technical and engineering resources.
  • Experience managing approximately 8 10 workstream leads, PMs, or technical/functional resources.
  • Strong experience developing and executing program roadmaps, integrated plans, milestones, critical paths, and delivery strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex risks, issues, dependencies, resource constraints, and escalations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to hold business and technology teams accountable for commitments.
  • Experience managing systems integrators, vendors, and third-party contractors, including SOW deliverables and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience driving testing, UAT, validation, migration, cutover, reconciliation, and go-live readiness.
  • Strong understanding of ERP/Finance Technology environments and cross-system dependencies.
Preferred Experience
  • Oracle Cloud Fusion experience across ERP, EPM, and Supply Chain/SCM.
  • Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency ERP environments.
  • Understanding of the Oracle Fusion accounting model and Finance Technology boundary layer.
  • Experience integrating with tax engines such as Vertex, billing systems, revenue platforms, and RPA solutions.
  • Experience with global finance/ERP programs and international implementations.
  • Exposure to European statutory accounting and VAT requirements.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
  • East Coast-based candidates are preferred.
