Senior ETL Software Engineer [$338k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance

Summary: • Develop and manage enterprise-level ETL data pipelines using Apache NiFi, Java, and Python. • Build, optimize, and maintain large-scale data ingestion and transformation flows across AWS cloud environments. • Integrate relational and NoSQL databases via REST APIs within a DevOps software development lifecycle.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 20+ years • Total Compensation: $338k+ yearly (tentative) Job Description: • Develop and implement enterprise-level ETL NiFi data pipelines for large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and processing from diverse sources. • Optimize NiFi data flows, including processor tuning, memory management, and load balancing to ensure optimal performance for batch and real-time processing. • Identify, diagnose, and resolve NiFi data flow issues, performance bottlenecks, data discrepancies, and integration failures. • Write code and automation scripts using Java and Python to extract, triage, and exploit data across domains and data stores. • Design, test, and deploy data solutions integrating databases such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and DynamoDB via RESTful web services. • Follow established best practices for NiFi development, deployment, security, and governance while collaborating across teams within a DevOps framework.
