Product Designer - Native Mobile (iOS/Android)


Dallas-Fort Worth, TX | Hybrid | Long-Term Contract
We are seeking a Product Designer with 3+ years of experience to support a major airline's customer-facing native mobile applications. This role focuses on designing intuitive, accessible, and engaging iOS and Android experiences within a collaborative, enterprise product environment.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on Figma and interaction design skills, experience designing native mobile applications, and a portfolio that clearly demonstrates their design process from discovery through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end native iOS and Android experiences, including user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver intuitive, user-centered mobile experiences.
  • Apply UX best practices, research insights, and design principles to influence product decisions.
  • Create and maintain interaction patterns and reusable components aligned with established design systems.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design improvements.
  • Develop information architecture, user flows, and detailed UX documentation.
  • Present design recommendations clearly to stakeholders, incorporating user feedback and business requirements.
  • Collaborate within Agile teams from discovery through implementation.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional UX/UI or Product Design experience.
  • Hands-on experience designing native iOS and Android applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, interaction design, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Experience working with design systems and reusable UI components.
  • Understanding of mobile design patterns, usability, accessibility, and responsive/adaptive design.
  • Experience conducting or supporting user research and usability testing.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams in an Agile environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • A clean, modern portfolio showcasing native mobile work, design thinking, and end-to-end UX process.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing consumer-facing mobile applications within large enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design.
  • Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, including AI-assisted design workflows.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Area; candidates must already reside locally
  • Hybrid Schedule: Onsite Tuesday-Thursday (mandatory); remote Monday and Friday
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (no H-1B, no C2C)
  • Duration: 12+ month W2 contract with potential for extension or full-time conversion
  • Interview Process: Two rounds - initial virtual interview followed by an onsite interview
  • Portfolio: Required for consideration; portfolio and LinkedIn URLs must be included on the resume
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) after 60 days, plus applicable PTO and sick leave per state/local law
  • Pay Range: Up to $60 per hour (W2)
