Front Office Automation Tester

A North Carolina-based financial services firm is seeking a new Front Office Automation Tester to join their team in Charlotte, supporting automated testing for trading and financial front office applications.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday (2-3 days in office)


• Hours: Standard business


• Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test cases for front office systems, including trading platforms, order management systems, and market data feeds


• Collaborate with front office users, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and testing priorities


• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to support application stability and accuracy


• Analyze test results, identify defects, and partner with development teams to resolve issues


• Document test plans, test data, and test results for audit and reporting purposes

Qualifications:

• Experience designing and executing automated test scripts for front office or trading applications


• Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript


• Experience with API and UI automation


• Experience with trading workflows, financial instruments, or market data systems


• Experience with fixed income and derivative products, such as swaps, caps/floors, swaptions, or bonds

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Selenium, TestNG, or similar test automation frameworks


• Experience with Agile development and continuous integration tools


• Exposure to sales and trading workflows


• Strong analytical and communication skills
