Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer Contract: 3 Months Location: Ellesmere Port (Onsite) This is a hands-on role focused on network discovery, infrastructure assessment, technical validation and supporting network transformation activities within a complex enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities:

Network discovery and site surveys<br />Auditing switches, routers, firewalls and network devices<br />Documenting network topology and infrastructure<br />Validating connectivity and configurations<br />Supporting network security assessments<br />Identifying technical risks and troubleshooting issues<br />Working closely with customer and project teamsWe're looking for someone with: 7+ years' network engineering experience<br />Strong knowledge of switching, routing, WAN/LAN, VLANs and firewalls<br />Experience carrying out network audits and technical documentation<br />Excellent troubleshooting skills<br />The ability to work independently in a live customer environmentECS Recruitment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
