IT Engineer (Short-Term Contract) | Outside ir35 Location: Office-Based<br />Contract: 3 Months We're currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking an experienced IT Engineer to provide hands-on support during a busy period of growth and change.

This is an excellent opportunity for a versatile IT professional who enjoys a varied role, combining day-to-day technical support with the confidence to take ownership of small projects and provide guidance across the wider IT function.

The RoleWorking as part of a small IT team, you'll be responsible for supporting users across a Microsoft-based environment while assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the IT infrastructure.

You'll act as a reliable point of contact for technical issues, helping to prioritise workloads, maintain systems, and ensure a high level of service across the business.

Key Responsibilities<br />Provide 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line technical support to internal users.<br />Support and administer Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.<br />Manage Active Directory, Group Policy and user administration.<br />Assist with hardware deployment, software installations and device configuration.<br />Support networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and switching.<br />Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer and mobile device issues.<br />Work alongside senior stakeholders to coordinate IT priorities and ensure business continuity.<br />Maintain documentation and follow IT best practices.<br />Assist with ongoing infrastructure improvements and IT projects where required.About YouWe're looking for someone who is technically capable but also enjoys taking ownership and supporting the wider business.<br />You'll ideally have experience with:

Microsoft 365 administration Windows Server<br />Active Directory &amp; Group Policy<br />Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID<br />Windows desktop support<br />Basic networking knowledge<br />Backup solutions and endpoint security<br />Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
