Role Overview

eNGINE is seeking a Senior Oracle EBS Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) Functional Consultant to lead functional improvements and support critical business processes within a global specialty manufacturing environment.

This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite R12 functional expert who can take ownership of complex Quote-to-Cash workflows, optimize system configuration, and drive solutions across order management, pricing, shipping, billing, and accounts receivable.

Working closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, supply chain partners, and technical developers, you will translate operational requirements into scalable solutions that maximize standard Oracle functionality while minimizing unnecessary customizations. The ideal candidate combines deep functional expertise with hands-on configuration, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to guide decisions across business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional design, configuration, and ongoing enhancement of Oracle EBS R12 Quote-to-Cash processes, with a primary focus on Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Shipping Execution, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and iReceivables.
• Partner with business process owners to assess existing workflows, identify operational challenges, and translate requirements into practical Oracle solutions.
• Configure Oracle EBS functionality, including transaction types, processing constraints, pricing rules, credit checking, tax integrations, and subledger accounting rules.
• Evaluate business requirements against standard Oracle capabilities, recommending solutions that improve efficiency and limit unnecessary custom development.
• Develop detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs) for customizations, extensions, modifications, integrations, and reports (CEMLI components) to support technical development.
• Design functional, unit, and integration test scenarios; prepare test scripts; coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT); and validate data before and after deployment.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues involving order holds, pricing discrepancies, interface failures, shipping transactions, and billing or invoice errors.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for Tier 2 and Tier 3 production support, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating resolutions with technical and database teams.
• Support end-to-end integration across Oracle EBS Quote-to-Cash, Inventory, Purchasing, and General Ledger, along with external CRM, e-commerce, and related enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with finance, supply chain, business operations, and development teams to ensure consistent transaction processing and accurate financial outcomes.
• Provide functional guidance, communicate solution trade-offs, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and deliver training to business users as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS functional implementation, configuration, enhancement, and production support experience, with specific experience in Oracle EBS R12.2 or later.
• Deep functional expertise in Oracle EBS Order Management (OM), Advanced Pricing, Shipping Execution, and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash business processes, including order capture, pricing, fulfillment, invoicing, billing, and receivables.
• Experience configuring Oracle EBS modules and resolving complex functional issues in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of integrations between Quote-to-Cash modules and Oracle Inventory (INV), Purchasing (PO), and General Ledger (GL), as well as external CRM and e-commerce platforms.
• Ability to review backend tables, use basic SQL/PL/SQL for investigation, monitor concurrent programs, and troubleshoot Oracle Workflow errors in collaboration with technical teams.
• Experience developing functional specifications and supporting custom Oracle EBS components, interfaces, extensions, and reports.
• Demonstrated ability to lead requirements discussions, analyze business process gaps, and recommend solutions using standard Oracle functionality.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation.
• Must reside in the United States and be able to work Eastern Time business hours.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting global Oracle EBS environments with complex order flows and cross-functional financial and supply chain dependencies.
• A track record of optimizing Quote-to-Cash processes while reducing reliance on customizations.
• Experience supporting Oracle EBS implementations, upgrades, system enhancements, or process transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with tax engine integrations, credit management, subledger accounting, and complex pricing structures.
• Experience coordinating deployments, validating production changes, and supporting business-critical applications over the long term.
