Senior Infrastructure Engineer | Citrix SME<br /> Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes (On-site)<br /> 6 Month Contract<br /> £468.98 per day PAYE | £620.36 per day Umbrella<br />Inside IR35 We're currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Citrix) to join a highly secure Government programme supporting critical enterprise infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Citrix specialist to work within a skilled engineering team, supporting complex virtual desktop environments and delivering both BAU support and infrastructure improvement projects. The Role As the Senior Citrix Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the stability, security and performance of enterprise Citrix platforms operating within a highly regulated environment. Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and maintaining enterprise Citrix Virtual Apps &amp; Desktops environments
• Designing, building, upgrading and optimising Citrix infrastructure
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting within high-availability environments
• Supporting BAU operations alongside infrastructure project delivery
• Integrating Citrix with Active Directory and secure access solutions
• Driving automation and continuous improvement across the environment
• Producing technical documentation and supporting knowledge transfer
• Working closely with infrastructure and platform engineering teams to enhance service resilience Required Experience We're looking for engineers with strong commercial experience in:
• Citrix Virtual Apps &amp; Desktops
• Enterprise Citrix administration, deployment and support
• Infrastructure design, upgrades and migrations
• Performance optimisation and complex troubleshooting
• Active Directory integration
• Secure access technologies
• High-availability infrastructure
• Infrastructure automation
• Working within ITIL or service-managed environments Experience working within secure or Government environments would be highly advantageous. Certifications (Desirable)
• Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA-V)
• Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP-V)
• Citrix Certified Expert – Virtualization (CCE-V) Security Requirements Due to the nature of this programme, applicants must be eligible to obtain Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance. To be eligible, candidates must:
• Be a sole British national and not hold dual nationality
• Have lived in the UK for at least 2 of the last 5 years
