Role Overview
We are looking for an Identity Engineer (Entra ID & JML) to join on a short term remote contract. The role is responsible for managing and supporting enterprise identity and access management services, with a primary focus on Microsoft Entra ID and Joiner, Mover, Leaver processes across a complex enterprise environment. Note: Active, transferable SC clearance is required with a minimum of 3 months validity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes, ensuring timely creation, modification, and removal of user accounts and access rights across enterprise systems
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID including user life cycle management, group administration, role assignments, license management, and provisioning and deprovisioning of enterprise application access
• Configure and support identity security controls including MFA, Conditional Access, and Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR), monitoring and troubleshooting authentication and access issues
• Support identity governance activities including access reviews, recertification campaigns, and compliance audits, maintaining accurate identity records in line with security and regulatory requirements
• Automate provisioning and access management processes to improve efficiency, collaborating with HR, Service Desk, Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver seamless onboarding, role changes, and offboarding experiences

Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) - user provisioning, group management, role assignments, and licensing - within an enterprise environment
• Proven experience managing Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) processes and identity life cycle management at enterprise scale
• Good understanding of IAM principles, access governance, and least-privilege security models, with hands-on experience with MFA, Conditional Access, and SSPR
• Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, and documentation skills across HR, Service Desk, Security, and Infrastructure teams

Desirable:

• PowerShell Scripting for provisioning automation, experience with PIM and Microsoft Defender, and familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR, and Zero Trust principles - SC clearance required (active and transferable)
