The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders) to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks safely and efficiently. • Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate logistics tasks. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required. • Experience operating heavy equipment or machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing and lifting up to 50 lbs. • Strong commitment to safety and excellent attention to detail. • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. • Basic communication and teamwork skills.
