Technical Trainer (W2 Only)

Required Knowledge/Skills:
1. 5+ years of related experience in IT including experience in a position requiring development of structured written materials and visual aids
2. 3+ years of technical writing experience
3. Ability to write, edit, and prepare graphic presentations of technical information for both technical and business personnel
4. 3+ years of experience with MS SharePoint application
5. Advanced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and working with templates and style guidelines for branding consistency

Preferred Requirements/Skills:
1. Completed Bachelor's degree
2. Experience in writing Advanced Planning Documents and/or Request For Proposals
3. Understanding of LEAN / Agile development style
4. Experience with BizAgi
5. Experience in a government environment

Additional Skills:
1. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with internal and external vendors, project team members, management and agency departments, to build relationships and use facilitation skills with both technical and non-technical personnel
2. Experience in organizing information in a way that is appropriate for technical explanations without losing sight of the needs and aptitude of the audience
3. Ability to collaborate and coordinate with multiple teams and vendors
4. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in order to meet deadlines
6. Keen attention to detail while maintaining the ability to see the big picture
7. Ability to absorb and retain complex processes
8. Strong language skills
9. Demonstrable understanding of the rules of English grammar and usage
10. Ability to accept changes and constructive criticism in a fast turn-around environment
