Job description

What You'll Do:

Drive high-level system design and architecture across multiple engineering domains, ensuring seamless integration, scalability and performance. Take a holistic approach to system engineering, contributing wherever needed to solve complex technical challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Lead high-level system architecture and design across multiple technical domains.
  2. Take a whole-system engineering approach, working across different areas of the technology stack as required.
  3. Design and develop APIs supporting model weight synchronisation and sharing.
  4. Architect solutions for key-value (KV) sharing across distributed systems.
  5. Design efficient data movement mechanisms to support communication and integration between system components.
  6. Evaluate architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability and performance.
  7. Collaborate with specialised engineering teams to align system components and technical requirements.
  8. Identify integration challenges and develop solutions that improve overall system efficiency.

About You:

  1. Strong experience in whole-system engineering and systems architecture.
  2. Proven ability to design high-level architectures across multiple technical domains.
  3. Understanding of distributed systems and complex system integration.
  4. Experience designing APIs for synchronisation, data sharing and communication between system components.
  5. Familiarity with model weight synchronisation and key-value (KV) sharing concepts.
  6. Strong understanding of data movement architectures and distributed data flows.
  7. Ability to work across different engineering domains and adapt to evolving technical requirements.
  8. Excellent architectural thinking, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
