Community Manager

Pay Range: $70 - $73/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor social platforms and online conversations to identify emerging trends and engagement opportunities.
• Identify "in-orbit" conversations around finance, taxes, and money, as well as "out-of-orbit" opportunities for brand participation in unrelated discussions.
• Engage in inbound and outbound conversations on behalf of the brand, crafting posts and replies that reflect our voice.
• Help plan social posts and engagements while contributing to existing brand playbooks.
• Participate in daily team ideation sessions focused on trends and opportunities.
• Support the broader goal of increasing brand mentions, reach, and positive sentiment.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; Experience launching a new social channel.
• Experience optimizing social processes.
• Discord/community experience.
• Experience creating or contributing to brand playbooks.
• Experience identifying new social opportunities.
• Strong professional community management experience.
• Reddit experience is important/required; must understand how to go deep into Reddit threads/conversations.
• Strong understanding of social platforms and social tone.
• Excellent English/writing skills with strong copywriting ability.
• Creative thinker and ideator with a critical and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Comfortable monitoring the internet for opportunities and engaging without constant approval.
• Understanding of social best practices and platform-specific tone.
• Experience with Sprinklr or other social listening/engagement tools is a plus.
