Job Description

The pay for this position is $120,000-$130,000 annually.
3 weeks (pro-rated) paid vacation to start & excellent health/dental/vision coverage!
9 paid holidays and 1 week of personal time
HCRS is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Benefits to lead the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of our employee benefits programs. This is an opportunity to influence how HCRS supports its staff through competitive, sustainable, and thoughtfully designed benefits.

The Director of Benefits will provide strategic oversight of health plans, retirement programs, leave administration, wellness initiatives, employee benefits communication, and regulatory compliance. The position will also serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on benefits strategy, financial performance, risk, and emerging workforce needs. To be considered, you will have:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.

At least seven years of progressive experience in benefits administration. At least 4 years of leadership or management experience.

Strong understanding of ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and related regulations
Advanced analytical and financial management capabilities
The ability to interpret complex information and develop practical, strategic recommendations
Strong negotiation, contract, and vendor-management skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Demonstrated leadership and project-management abilities
Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficiency with HRIS, benefits administration, payroll-related benefits functions, and data analytics systems
Experience overseeing self-funded health plans preferred.
