Norton Blake is recruiting a Senior Content Design & Governance Lead to shape the content experience across a global organisation's customer-facing web and mobile platforms.
Combining strategic leadership with hands-on content design, you'll ensure customers can find, understand and act on information throughout their digital journeys.
This will be an initial 1 year contract, Hybrid London (twice a week), Inside Ir35 paying circa £500-£540 per day
The role

• Establish global content standards, terminology, design patterns and governance frameworks.
• Define how content is created, approved, localised and published, working closely with business and product owners.
• Embed content design throughout discovery, design, development and validation.
• Help product teams build sustainable content ownership and governance practices.
• Use analytics, customer research and support insights to identify improvements and measure content effectiveness.

What we're looking for

• Strong expertise in content design, UX writing and information architecture.
• Experience governing content across global digital platforms serving multiple markets.
• A track record of embedding content design into the product development life cycle.
• Experience developing reusable standards and balancing global consistency with regional localisation.
• The ability to influence senior stakeholders across product, UX, technology and regional business teams without direct authority.
• Success will mean clearer customer journeys, improved task completion, reduced abandonment and fewer content-related support enquiries.
