HR Advisor - Further Education

Start: ASAP Hours: Monday Friday Contract: Long-term
Pay: £23.45 per hour
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a college HR team, providing advice and support to managers across employee relations, HR policies and workforce management.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence matters.
• Advise managers on employment legislation, HR policies and procedures.
• Support organisational change, consultations and redundancy processes.
• Assist with recruitment, performance management, probation and workforce reporting.
• Support payroll, contractual changes and HR policy development.
• Liaise with trade unions and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with confidentiality, data protection and safeguarding requirements.

Requirements

• Previous HR Advisor experience with strong employee relations knowledge.
• Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience with recruitment, payroll and HR systems.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• CIPD membership or progress towards Chartered status is desirable.
• Further education or wider education sector experience is advantageous.
