Job Description

Windows Server Lead
Location: On-site, Philadelphia, PA
Employment: Full-time
Salary Range: 150,000–155,000 annually
Clearance: Active Top Secret
Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required
Anticipated Start: November 12, 2026; contingent on contract award Lead enterprise Windows operations supporting a critical Department of Defense mission.
We are seeking an experienced Windows Server Lead to support the Defense Logistics Agency’s Enterprise Windows Administration Support Services (EWASS) program. This hands-on leadership role combines technical direction, enterprise server administration, project coordination, and security support to keep essential systems reliable and secure. What You’ll Do

  • Lead on-site Windows Server administration, installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Install, configure, operate, troubleshoot, and repair servers, software, IT equipment, and connectivity.
  • Support enterprise Windows operations, cloud and hybrid environments, server builds and decommissioning, and patch management.
  • Lead technical work involving vulnerability remediation and DISA STIG/RMF compliance.
  • Develop technical documentation, analyses, briefings, and presentations.
  • Help develop and manage project plans, review technical deliverables, and track progress against schedules.
  • Coordinate with program leadership, government representatives, technical teams, and users to deliver effective solutions. Required Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of progressive IT experience.
  • Experience on at least 5 projects involving technical areas relevant to enterprise Windows administration and the responsibilities above, including at least 1 project within the past 3 years.
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience across all aspects of Windows Server administration.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • DoD-approved 8570/8140 baseline certification at the IAT II or IAT III level.
  • Applicable DLA-approved Computing Environment certifications for Server Admin M and Domain Admin Z, covering cloud or Microsoft operating systems as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading enterprise Windows Server teams and technical installations.
  • Expertise with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and PowerShell automation.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, cloud or hybrid hosting, backup and recovery, PKI, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience supporting DoD or DLA environments.
  • Additional Microsoft Windows Server, Azure, ITIL, cloud, cybersecurity, or project leadership credentials.

Education: No separate degree requirement is specified for this role.

Schedule: After-hours or on-call support may be required. Candidates selected for proposal submission will need to complete the required resume template and provide a signed Letter of Commitment.
