We are looking for a dynamic and execution-focusedย Chief Operating Officer (COO)ย to lead and strengthen the organisationโs overallย operationsย and ensure effective execution of business priorities. The role requires strong operational leadership, strategic thinking, process discipline, and the ability to translate business objectives into scalable operating practices.
The COO will work closely with senior leadership to improve operational efficiency, establish robust processes, drive accountability, and ensure consistent execution across functions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of complex operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organisationโs overallย operationsย and ensure efficient execution of business priorities.
- Translate strategic objectives into clear operational plans, initiatives, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Establish and continuously improve operational processes, systems, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Drive operational efficiency, productivity, cost optimisation, and scalability across business functions.
- Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and operating reviews to monitor business and operational performance.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, process gaps, risks, and inefficiencies and drive corrective actions.
- Build strong cross-functional coordination between Operations, Finance, Technology, Sales, HR, and other teams.
- Establish clear ownership, accountability, and performance expectations across operational teams.
- Lead business transformation, process improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Ensure effective allocation of people, technology, financial resources, and other operational assets.
- Develop scalable operating models to support business growth, expansion, and changing organisational requirements.
- Monitor service delivery, quality, turnaround times, productivity, and other operational performance indicators.
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitisation, and technology-enabled operational improvements.
- Establish appropriate controls and processes to manage operational, financial, compliance, and execution risks.
- Support annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Review operational performance regularly and present key insights, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing operational teams and future leaders.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, accountability, and execution excellence.
- Manage critical operational issues and ensure timely resolution of escalations.
- Lead strategic operational projects and other business-critical initiatives as required.
What Makes You a Great Fit
