Surgical Services Assistant

• Create a sterile and welcoming environment by meticulously cleaning patient rooms and surgical suites to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate seamless patient transitions by managing the admission and discharge process, ensuring patients and their belongings are moved safely and efficiently.
• Optimize clinical workflows by partnering with the OR team to execute rapid room turnovers, allowing life-saving procedures to remain on schedule.
• Manage vital inventory levels for linens and medical supplies to ensure caregivers always have the tools they need at their fingertips.
• Maintain high-performance equipment and service carts to ensure the facility operates at peak efficiency and remains organized.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
