Human Resources Generalist
Reports To:
HR Manager
The Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive HR support to the organization by managing various functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Recruitment and Onboarding
Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training.
Employee Relations
Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement.
Performance Management
Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
Support managers with employee evaluations and provide feedback on performance issues.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
Compliance and Legal
Ensure company policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and recommend policy updates.
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
HR Reporting and Analytics
Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics related to turnover, recruitment, and employee satisfaction.
Analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
Administrative Support
Maintain employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
Handle HR paperwork and documentation for various processes.
Support other HR initiatives and projects as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
~3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Generalist.
~ Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
~ Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
~ HR certification (e.g., Experience with HRIS systems and advanced reporting tools.
