Key responsibilities include:

• Originating and executing M&A and strategic advisory mandates across the European insurance market
• Maintaining and expanding relationships with C-suite executives, boards, shareholders, private equity investors, and other senior market participants
• Developing and converting a strong pipeline of advisory opportunities into revenue-generating mandates
• Acting as a trusted adviser to clients on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, disposals, capital structure matters, and broader corporate finance topics
• Leading transaction teams and overseeing the successful execution of mandates from origination through to completion
• Collaborating with colleagues across industry and product teams to deliver integrated client solutions
• Mentoring and developing junior bankers while helping to build a high-performance, entrepreneurial culture
• Representing the firm in the market and contributing to the continued growth of the European Insurance franchise

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record as a senior Investment Banking professional covering the Insurance sector
• Established relationships with key decision-makers across the European insurance market, including insurers, brokers, MGAs, reinsurers, and private equity investors
• Demonstrable history of originating and generating significant fee income through M&A and strategic advisory transactions
• Strong reputation and market presence within the European Insurance ecosystem
• Deep understanding of industry dynamics, consolidators, strategic acquirers, and investor appetite across the sector
• Extensive experience leading complex transaction processes and managing senior client relationships
• Strong commercial instincts with a proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to contribute to the strategic growth of the platform
