Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, migration, security, and DevOps practices.

The AWS Architect will work closely with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to define cloud strategies and deliver enterprise-level AWS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud architectures.
• Develop cloud strategies and architecture roadmaps aligned with business requirements.
• Lead application and infrastructure migration initiatives to AWS.
• Design solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, ECS, EKS, and CloudWatch.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, network security, and compliance controls.
• Design and optimize AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and connectivity solutions.
• Work closely with development and DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues.
• Establish cloud architecture standards, best practices, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering and project teams.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS.
• Expertise in AWS services including:
  • EC2
  • S3
  • RDS
  • Lambda
  • VPC
  • IAM
  • CloudWatch
  • ECS / EKS
  • Route 53
  • API Gateway
• Strong knowledge of cloud security and AWS best practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including VPC, VPN, DNS, load balancing, and security groups.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Linux and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud migration and modernization projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise cloud environments.
• Knowledge of microservices and serverless architecture.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
