Location: Los Angeles, CA Salary: $40.00 USD Hourly - $55.00 USD Hourly Description:
Drafting Designer / CAD Designer (Engineer II / III)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Drafting Designer with 2-10 years of experience in creating technical drawings and 3D models for engineering projects. This role supports the full design process by developing accurate drawings, piping models, and documentation that meet engineering and industry standards.
Key Requirements:

• Strong technical drafting and design experience
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Experience creating and managing 3D piping models
• Ability to develop P&IDs, orthographic drawings, and isometric drawings
• Experience supporting high-pressure pipeline projects
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering concepts into clear drawings
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  

Qualifications:

• 2-10 years of relevant drafting/design experience
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience with engineering documentation and industry standards
  

Additional Information:

• One interview with the hiring manager
• No conversion to permanent employment planned
• Hybrid schedule: 1-2 days onsite, remaining days remote
• Equipment for both office and remote work will be provided by the supplier
