AI Solution Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Davie, FL that is seeking an experienced AI Solution Architect to lead the design and governance of enterprise-scale agentic AI solutions. This role will define AI architecture standards, evaluate platforms and models, establish governance frameworks, and guide the adoption of secure, scalable, and cost-effective AI capabilities across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI strategy, roadmaps, and enterprise architecture standards aligned with business objectives
• Design scalable agentic AI, RAG, and AI knowledge architectures
• Define standards for APIs, agent frameworks, integrations, observability, security, and governance
• Evaluate AI platforms, models, and vendors while leading build-versus-buy decisions
• Establish GenAIOps practices, performance metrics, and cost optimization strategies
• Design AI security controls, guardrails, identity management, and responsible AI frameworks
• Partner with engineering, data, security, and business teams to deliver enterprise AI solutions
• Present architectural recommendations and technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders
• Mentor teams and promote AI engineering best practices

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 8+ years of enterprise software engineering and solution architecture experience
• Experience architecting generative AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI
• Strong expertise with agentic AI, multi-agent systems, and RAG architectures
• Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks
• Proficiency with Python, cloud architecture, Kubernetes, APIs, and microservices
• Knowledge of AI governance, security, and frameworks such as NIST AI RMF or ISO/IEC 42001
• Experience with enterprise data architecture, integrations, and customer data platforms
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• TOGAF or cloud architecture certifications
• Multi-cloud experience across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform
• Databricks, Snowflake, or lakehouse architecture expertise
• Experience with model fine-tuning, small language models, and AI cost optimization
• Enterprise-scale identity, authorization, and governance experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
