Job Description

GPO is seeking a senior Oracle DBA / Oracle Subject Matter Expert to provide enterprise
database administration, maintenance, development, monitoring, and production support
across on-premises and cloud environments.
Required Responsibilities
Administer and support enterprise Oracle Database environments.
Support Oracle Grid and Oracle RMAN.
Install, configure, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot Oracle database servers.
Create and manage standalone Oracle databases.
Perform backup, recovery, restore validation, and Disaster Recovery activities.
Support High Availability environments and failover testing.
Perform database performance tuning and capacity planning.
Troubleshoot database, server, and application integration issues.
Support PL/SQL development and troubleshooting.
Implement and maintain database security, auditing, and compliance controls.
Perform incident analysis, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and preventive
actions.
Support requests for Change and maintenance activities.
Work with ServiceNow tickets from assignment through resolution.
Prepare operational documentation, procedures, standards, and weekly activity
reports.

8+ years of Oracle database administration experience
