Quality Engineer responsibilities include -
- Conducting audits and process compliance checks to ensure adherence to defined standards.
- Supporting APQP and NPI activities to ensure robust process control through production.
- Preparing and maintaining PPAP documentation to meet customer requirements.
- Leading 8D investigations and corrective actions to resolve and prevent issues.
- Analysing quality data, scrap, and rework trends to drive improvement.
- Conducting internal audits and process checks to maintain compliance.
Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of APQP, FMEA, 8D and Control Plans
- Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings, job cards and inspection plans.
