Job Description
The HR Generalist supports daily Human Resources operations by managing employee onboarding, workforce reporting, employee relations, HR compliance activities, and general HR administration. This role serves as a key resource for employees and managers while ensuring HR processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Forms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Employee Onboarding & Site Support
Manage and support the employee onboarding process from hire through orientation. Coordinate and distribute first-day employee communications to internal stakeholders. Prepare and assemble employee access badges and site access materials. Review and verify I-9 documentation and ensure timely submission to HR Support. Support new hire onboarding administration and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately. Assist employees with onboarding questions, HR forms, and employment paperwork.

Support employee status changes and other HR administrative processes as needed. Workforce Reporting & Analytics
Prepare and maintain Global Headcount Reports. Generate and distribute Building Headcount Reports and departmental workforce reports. Prepare and analyze Attrition Reports to monitor turnover trends. Compile and maintain Plant Data Reports supporting business operations. Create, maintain, and analyze workforce-related reports for HR and Finance leadership. Collect, organize, and maintain employee data to ensure reporting accuracy.

Audit workforce data and identify discrepancies requiring correction. Utilize Microsoft Excel to develop, maintain, and improve HR reporting processes. Employee Relations & HR Support
Support employee investigations and workplace concerns while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Document employee relations matters and maintain appropriate records. Serve as a resource for employees regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and HR-related questions. Partner with managers and supervisors to provide guidance on employee matters.

Assist with conflict resolution and employee issue follow-up as directed by HR leadership. Support employee engagement and retention initiatives as needed. Compliance & Employee Administration
Maintain employee files and documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Review employee records and determine rehire eligibility in accordance with company guidelines. Support internal audits and documentation requests. Ensure HR records are complete, accurate, and confidential. Monitor compliance-related activities and documentation requirements.

HR Systems & Process Improvement
Create and manage Microsoft Forms for HR processes, employee communications, and information collection. Utilize Power Automate to streamline HR workflows and administrative processes when applicable. Assist with HR projects, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support workforce planning requests and organizational reporting needs. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience within HR processes. Additional Responsibilities
Support HR team initiatives and special projects.

Provide administrative support for HR programs and activities. Perform other HR-related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Required
Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of Human Resources, administrative, onboarding, or employee relations experience. Experience with employee onboarding and I-9 verification. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data management. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with HRIS systems and workforce reporting tools. Experience creating and managing Microsoft Forms. Experience with Microsoft Power Automate. Knowledge of employee relations processes and HR compliance requirements. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
