CAD Drafter / Operator with Security Clearance

Title: • CAD Drafter / Operator Location

• Offutt AFB, Omaha, Nebraska (ON-SITE) Clearance Required:
• Secret (Top Secret/SCI preferred) Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, IT, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience. • 6–8 years of CAD, AutoCAD, and/or Revit drafting experience in a technical environment. • AutoCAD certification preferred. • Demonstrated experience supporting design, installation, configuration, and documentation of IT/C4I services in complex, multi-enclave environments. • Familiarity with C2 systems, government design processes, and information assurance compliance. • Strong ability to independently resolve technical drawing and modeling challenges. • Active Secret Clearance required, Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility preferred.

Key Responsibilities: • Support the engineering team in developing integrated, cost-effective IT and C4I solutions. • Draft, refine, and maintain assigned portions of the Top-Level Design (TLD); participate in interim and final design reviews. • Prepare complex drawings, 3D models, detail drawings, and assembly drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or other CAD tools. • Interpret engineering designs, blueprints, and schematics to resolve design conflicts and optimize layouts. • Work from sketches, computer models, and verbal information supplied by engineers, architects, or designers to develop comprehensive drawing packages. • Apply mathematical formulas to compute weights, loads, land contours, center of gravity, quantities of materials, and other technical design factors. • Select and integrate data from manufacturer catalogs, standards, technical guides, and government design references. • Capture and document testing, installation, configuration, and IA-compliance procedures related to IT systems. • Lead CAD documentation development and maintain drawing/document control in accordance with government standards (SIPH, IDPs, etc.). • Recommend process improvements for engineering documents and ensure production timelines/milestones are met. • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technical teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project specifications. • This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret)
