Blue Yonder WMS Developer - 1 year - Coventry - £550/day - Inside IR35

We are seeking a highly skilled Blue Yonder WMS Developer to join a leading UK retailer on a 1-year hybrid contract based in Coventry (1-2 days on-site). This role is part of a large-scale transformation programme building a scalable, robust solution for warehouse management operations. The successful candidate will design, configure, and implement solutions within the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System, customising workflows, integrating with external systems, and ensuring optimal performance to support efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and customise WMS solutions in Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS, including coding packages and procedures in Oracle PL/SQL
• Conduct project discovery, defining and managing scoping, requirements definition, and prioritisation for initiatives of varying size and complexity, in collaboration with the Product Owner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and integrate WMS solutions into existing IT infrastructure and warehouse environments
• Work across both Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS and Manhattan/PKMS WMS products
• Review and maintain code in GitHub
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Support testing phases (UAT, QA) and deployment activities
• Maintain technical documentation and provide user training when required

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• Strong Oracle PL/SQL development background
• Knowledge of Blue Yonder Dispatcher Warehouse Management System
• Manhattan/PKMS WMS application knowledge
• Proficiency in SQL Server and database management
• Experience with Logistics/Supply Chain applications
• Knowledge of the Retail business and Logistics domain
• Knowledge of Gitbash and Unix Shell Scripting
• Good WMS (Discrete and Dispatcher) knowledge, with strong end-to-end WMS understanding
• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into effective solutions

• Day Rate: £550 Per Day - Inside IR35
