Title: Systems Analyst

Location: Remote for EST/CST

Term: 6 months

The Role

The Digital Marketing Team, within Client Institutional Business Enablement Technology (FIBET), is seeking a skillful, upbeat Systems Analyst. This role requires a self-starter who can champion collaboration and cultivate a close partnership with business and the development teams to help craft and implement solutions on both client and server-side technologies.

The Expertise We’re Looking For:

5+ years of Systems Analysis experience

Demonstrated expertise interviewing and extracting high quality business requirements from stakeholders using the Agile scrum methodology

Confidence in SQL skills

Excellent analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills, including strong judgement, issues management and problem analysis techniques

Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and facilitation skills

Demonstrated ability to effectively balance multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail

Financial services experience is a benefit
Git hub and visual studio code would be helpful to have

Job Description

Systems Analysis – Alert Processing: 
Perform current state analysis of existing mainframe / distributed platform and document.

Are you able to provide consultants with requisite skills & expertise to perform indepth analysis and develop & deliver highly detailed system documentation/specifications on highly complex existing legacy mainframe & distributed platforms and meet with defined expectations?

Analysis would comprise:

·      Define process flows for alerts by business unit and persona

·      Determine and document business logic & parameterization, and resulting expected behaviors

·      Determine and document business logic and parameters which are required to support business unit specific filtering

·      Document in details and data enrichment and detail source systems that provide this data

·      Define Data Transformations and logic that was applied

·      Define logic for aggregations of alerts/notifications

·      Define logic for deduping of alerts/notifications

·      Alert/Notification confirmations

Expectations:

i) Perform detailed analysis covering current state with the ability to understand system workflows, processing requirements & create detailed diagrams with detailed documentation (which will later be translated into new application/system processing requirements).

ii) Ability to provide Analysts with suitable skills / expertise and to enable rapid onboarding.

iii) it is also expected that Consultant Analysts can work independently and make progress where they encounter ambiguity.

Systems Analysis - Alert Template Documentation: Provide current state documentation of Alert Templates.

Alert Template documentation requires the analysis of end-customer notifications and documenting applicable logic and behaviors as well as alert artifacts themselves.

Analysis would comprise the following:

·      Capture & document alert rendering for every BU, Persona & Device Type

·      Document logic applied to each alert template

·      Document any special or custom logic

This would define workflows and processing requirements.
