Job Description
With Capital One's acquisition Discover Financial they are looking to move all of their applications off of OpenShift and onto Capital One's Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS). Project is called "container runtime convergence"

Team will be responsible for
Looking for gaps in Kubernetes the Gap Analysis of additional controls will be due by May 2026
Enable applications that are being retained to run on EKS or EKS Fargate
Move into Capital One's AWS environment

Wants Engineers with Container experience to understand if they should be targeting EKS or EKS Fargate
What needs to be added to OpenShift to make it well governed
How DFS governs OpenShift and how Capital one wants to run it
