Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior (Life Science) – Business Process Outsourcing based in United States.

Join a collaborative advisory team supporting clients in the life sciences sector through high-quality accounting and business process outsourcing services. In this role, you will oversee client engagements, review financial reporting, and help ensure accounting processes are accurate, timely, and compliant with internal controls. You’ll partner directly with client management to understand business needs, resolve challenges, and recommend operational improvements. The position combines technical accounting expertise, client relationship management, and project leadership. You’ll also contribute to the development of junior team members while managing multiple engagements in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Accountabilities:

    • Plan and supervise assigned business process outsourcing engagements.

    • Develop a thorough understanding of each client’s business and accounting processes.

    • Review workpapers for accuracy, completeness, and quality.

    • Review financial statements, including note disclosures, for accuracy and completeness.

    • Analyze balance sheet accounts and prepare account reconciliations.

    • Post cash transactions daily and ensure cash reconciliations are completed promptly.

    • Conduct periodic internal audits of selected activities to assess compliance with internal controls.

    • Research and resolve issues arising during engagements.

    • Collaborate with client management to gather information, address challenges, and recommend business and process improvements.

    • Support staff professional development and prepare performance evaluations.

      • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

      • 3–4 years of experience as a senior accountant, including experience in a business process outsourcing (BPO) practice or with an external accounting service provider.

      • Advanced computer skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

      • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

      • Excellent project management, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

      • Ability to supervise multiple engagements simultaneously.

      • Strong multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines and engagement timelines.

      • Self-motivated, dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to work.
