Techno-Functional Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in need of a Techno-Functional Lead in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track software releases, deployment activities, and delivery milestones across multiple teams
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and blockers, and provide status updates to stakeholders
• Oversee application security and compliance reviews, including vulnerability remediation and open-source software governance
• Support the integration of security, quality, and compliance controls within software delivery processes
• Partner with engineering, DevOps, security, product, and business teams to drive successful project execution
• Contribute to application development, integration, and automation initiatives
• Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards, processes, and quality requirements
• Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis across development and production environments
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, operational processes, and project artifacts
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, track action items, and coordinate follow-up activities
• Develop reporting and metrics related to delivery performance, release readiness, security posture, and project health
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, release efficiency, quality, and operational excellence

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in software development, application delivery, systems integration, or technology operations
• Strong hands-on experience with software development using modern programming languages
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting system integrations, APIs, and enterprise applications
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and modern DevOps practices
• Knowledge of application security, software compliance, vulnerability management, and secure development principles
• Experience supporting software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and Agile delivery methodologies
• Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills
• Proven ability to manage projects, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and balance technical and business priorities
• Experience creating executive-level status reporting, project documentation, and operational metrics
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business-focused updates and recommendations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
