The Role • Operate heavy machinery, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move and position shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks safely and efficiently. • Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure operational readiness and safety compliance. • Coordinate with yard personnel to manage container movements and optimize workflow. • Maintain a secure and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols. • Assist in the overall logistics operations to ensure timely freight movement. What You'll Need • A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this position. • Prior experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • A strong focus on safety and meticulous attention to detail. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. • Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
