About the Role
Join an early-stage team building AI-first software for architecture and construction, including a new BIM authoring tool designed for AI agents. You will help shape its technical foundations, with the opportunity to grow into a technical leadership role.
What You'll Do
Build the geometry and data core of a new BIM authoring tool.
Develop AI agents that plan and edit real building models.
Create generative design capabilities that account for building codes and client constraints.
Work across the stack, moving quickly between unfamiliar technical areas as the product evolves.
What We're Looking For
Production software experience; candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience should also have a long history of building substantial projects independently.
Hands-on experience with 3D geometry or CAD, such as geometry kernels, B-rep, meshes, CAD APIs, IFC, or Revit.
Daily practical experience building with LLMs and AI agents.
A generalist mindset, strong English communication, and experience in a startup or as a founder.
Experience with Python, PyTorch, TypeScript, or three.js is useful, as is knowledge of AEC, BIM, generative models, or visual data.
Experience leading engineers or making architecture decisions is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation starts at €100,000 annually, with stock options. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Fully remote within Europe, including the United Kingdom and Switzerland. The primary location is Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
