Job Description

Job Title: SDET
Location: Alpharetta, GA or Columbus, OH
Type: Full Time/W2 with Infinite Computer Solutions

  1. The SDET candidate will be joining a Microsoft .NET based scrum team as the primary tester. They will be responsible for building javascript or python based automation frameworks using Selenium or Appium. Candidate needs a solid understanding of testing for both front and back end as well as how API calls are made between them. They will be building test cases and scenarios and working on a dedicated scrum team

    8-10 plus years of SDET work experience
  2. Primary/Mandatory skillsets: SDET - Postman, Playwright - Automation, Azure CI/CD
  3. Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Postman for API testing and Playwright for UI test automation.
  4. Lead the automation testing strategy across projects, ensuring scalable and maintainable test suites are developed using modern tools and best practices.
  5. Develop and execute test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage across systems using Postman and Playwright.
  6. Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure, ensuring seamless integration of automated tests within the build and deployment process.
  7. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to integrate automated tests into the Azure CI/CD process, ensuring early detection of defects and smooth delivery cycles.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of SDETs by providing technical guidance on test automation, best practices, and troubleshooting complex automation challenges.
  9. Ensure high test coverage and stability of automation scripts by continuously improving test frameworks and identifying areas for performance optimization.
  10. Monitor and manage test execution in CI/CD environments using Azure pipelines, identifying and resolving issues related to test failures, build breaks, or performance bottlenecks.
  11. Drive root cause analysis for test failures, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects and improve the overall quality of the product.
  12. Stay updated on emerging testing technologies and trends, especially within Postman, Playwright, and Azure CI/CD, and propose improvements to current testing strategies and tools.
