Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday Integrations Consultant with strong expertise in Workday EIB, Workday Studio, Workday Extend, and Workday data integrations. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting integrations between Workday and internal/external systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Workday integration technologies, data transformation, troubleshooting, and integration lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy Workday integrations based on business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain integrations using Workday EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder).
  • Build complex integrations using Workday Studio.
  • Develop and support solutions using Workday Extend where applicable.
  • Work with Workday Core HCM and other Workday modules to understand business and integration requirements.
  • Develop inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party applications.
  • Work with Workday Reports, Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and custom reports to support integration requirements.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading between Workday and external systems.
  • Work with Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and Workday Web Services (WWS) for system integrations.
  • Configure and troubleshoot integration security, authentication, and access requirements.
  • Develop data mappings and transformation logic between Workday and downstream/upstream applications.
  • Perform integration testing, unit testing, system integration testing, and production validation.
  • Monitor integrations and troubleshoot failures, errors, and data issues.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, developers, and external vendors.
  • Create technical documentation, integration specifications, mapping documents, and support documentation.
  • Participate in deployment, production support, and ongoing enhancement activities.
  • Follow Workday integration best practices, security standards, and development standards.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Integrations.
  • Expertise in Workday EIB.
  • Strong experience with Workday Studio.
  • Experience with Workday Extend.
  • Experience developing inbound and outbound integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Workday data structures and business processes.
  • Experience with Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Web Services.
  • Knowledge of XML, JSON, XSLT, and data transformation.
  • Strong understanding of integration testing and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with integration security and authentication.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Integration certification is preferred.
  • Experience integrating Workday with systems such as ADP, payroll, benefits, finance, identity management, recruiting, or other third-party applications.
  • Experience with Workday Core Connector, PECI, PICOF, or other Workday delivered integrations.
  • Experience with Workday Extend applications and custom user experiences.
  • Knowledge of Workday Security and integration system security groups.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
