Job overview:

The Project Manager leads MICU's semiconductor construction project team and serves as the primary interface with the client-side PM. This role owns overall project execution, client communication, schedule, cost, risk, safety/quality alignment, and coordination across different departments.

This position requires direct semiconductor PM experience, with strong understanding of tool installation, wet mechanical/process utility scope, high-purity piping, DI/UPW, chemical/gas systems, and complex MEP sequencing.

General Responsibilities:

  • Act as the client-facing project lead and maintain consistent communication with the client-side.
  • Own project scope, execution planning, schedule, cost control, change management, risk mitigation, reporting, and project closeout/handover.
  • Oversee semiconductor-specific construction scopes, including cleanroom work, wet mechanical/process utilities, high-purity piping, tool installation support, hook-up coordination, commissioning support, and turnover readiness.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, procurement, field teams, and client stakeholders to resolve interface issues and drive schedule performance.
  • Review progress, critical path, resource needs, material readiness, quality issues, safety risks, and recovery plans with functional leads.
  • Ensure project execution complies with safety, quality, cleanroom, contamination-control, permitting, and client requirements.
  • Provide regular progress updates, KPIs, issue logs, escalation items, and lessons learned to leadership and client stakeholders.
