Join our passionate kitchen team at the NOVOTEL Southampton and help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Senior Chef de Partie, you'll take ownership of your section, delivering consistently high-quality dishes while supporting the smooth running of the kitchen.
What you'll be doing:
- Running your section during preparation and service.
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to brand standards.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, safety and cleanliness.
- Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
- Monitoring stock levels, stock rotation and ingredient storage.
- Coaching and supporting junior team members.
- Ensuring the kitchen remains organised, efficient and service-ready.
- Working collaboratively to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy hotel or restaurant.
- Passion for fresh food and high standards.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practices.
- A positive, team-focused attitude.
- Ability to stay calm and organised during busy services.
