Job Description 

A weekend/day shift CT Tech job involves operating CT scanning equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human body, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring the quality of the images. The tech also administers contrast media and may be involved in patient education, scheduling, and maintaining equipment.

CT Tech- weekend/days

Performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis of patients of all ages. Position will be working in a fast paced environment in level one trauma center.

Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Experience: CT experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Must be CT registered within one year of hire. ARRT registry / valid BLS certification.

Other: Good interpersonal, technical skills, and flexibility in assignments.
